I am carrying two credit cards into the horizontal opening (could force in a third one) and my ID fits snug into the vertical, which is a good thing.   -Love the color. The matte black feel of the leather is superb. The red stitching adds a lot of character.
  -Size is perfect. Not to huge, not too small. Surprisingly, not too thick. Precisely what I wanted in a wallet.
  -Workmanship is top notch. Well done.
  -It's heavy. I like heavy wallets.
  Cons:

  "I've been using the wallet on a daily basis [for a week], and it's starting to change my life. It seems to me that owning a slim wallet is actually a philosophical choice that requires one to examine what is essential, while also editing out items that can be left at home. This requires thought. I carefully fold my bills so that they fit perfectly into the wallet - they are in order according to denomination. When there are too many dollar bills accumulating, I take the excess out and clip them together (perhaps your Pinnell money is my next acquisition)... the leather has already started to acquire a burnished patina. So, aesthetically, I think it is a great wallet. But, it is also rugged and extremely practical on a day-to-day level. I certainly look forward to using it for a long time. It's a great addition to your line of slim wallets and card holders. Anyway, just wanted to give you a follow-up report. And, again, thanks again for everything!"

• "First off, I want to say that I admire what you do in hand crafting top quality products. I can really appreciate a small business that puts the time and effort into each individual item, as you do...I'm 31, and it seemed like I was buying a wallet every few years because they were just falling apart or getting worn out too quick. I never really put much thought into buying a wallet, I would just go spend $15 - $20 and get whatever was at the store. My wallets always ended up being bulky and uncomfortable in my front pocket, which is where I like to keep it, so I started looking for a slim, compact wallet. I came across a couple others, before yours, that I liked but after doing more research I found that they were made from "genuine leather" which I learned to be a lower grade of leather. Then I realized that this is probably why all my wallets were breaking down so quickly, so I started looking for full grain leather, slim wallets and yours caught my eye. After doing more research on your wallet, and finding out that each one is personally handmade, that was the icing on the cake. Also, having my name branded into the wallet makes it more personal as well, and is something that I haven't seen before. Great idea. I have 4 cards in it max, and it works so well! I love using the wallet because it's one piece of leather really that just slides in or out of whatever pocket or place you put it. I wanted a simpler set up and it is definitely what I got. The stretch is not bad, the leather is still as moist as it should be, and it works very well for my conditions. The hardest thing to do is use cash. It has to be double folded, so keeping more than 20 dollars in there is difficult. But, I almost solely use it for the cards anyway so no worries. The feel of the leather and the quality of the craftsmanship is exceptional. Also a very smart contrast provided between the blue stitching and the angus black leather. My previous wallet was a java brown, Bellroy slim sleeve. Thus, I had reasonably high expectations and you sir, far exceeded them and permanently changed my frame of reference. By way of comparison the leather on the Bellroy feels needlessly too thin and the stitching feels fragile. The Bellroy comes across as a machine made product using fake materials; whereas your design looks carefully crafted and feels genuine. Also wanted to commend you on your email interaction and the personal hand written note inside the great packaging/presentation. Truly first class. Very professional and yet still very personable. • "When I received [my Madison], it came exactly as described with a sweet box, bearing the Waskerd trademark "W." When I opened the box, I found my wallet wrapped neatly in a blue piece of cloth, orange string tied around it, Shaw's amazing leather business cards, and a handwritten note from none other than Derek Shaw. This was probably the best part. The handwritten note added a "person" to the everyday faceless exchange of internet purchases. I was pleasantly surprised.
  
  I have had the wallet for about four months and each and every day it lives up to its standards and continues to age with beauty. I keep 7 cards, and roughly 5-10 bills on me at all times and have never felt the wallet to be overbearing or at maximum capacity. The leather has continued to withstand the beatings my life, friends, and girlfriend have thrown at it! Plenty of my friends have expressed jealousy and I have received numerous compliments on how cool it looks. The stitch job Derek has made still looks as good as new, and none of the edges of the leather, or stitching have showed even the slightest signs of deterioration.
