The Broadsheet Jacket Wallet is a long slim wallet designed to fit the inside pocket of a top coat, suit jacket, or blazer. It has the capacity to carry a few essential cards and plenty of cash while still maintaining the signature Waskerd simple and slim footprint.
In 1712, the British began taxing newspapers based on the number of pages per issue. So to use fewer pages, publishers began printing on larger paper, called broadsheet. Broadsheet lent status to printed materials, and was often used for posting royal announcements, official notices, speeches, and ballads. The shape of the Broadsheet wallet represents a folded newspaper; it is meant to be tucked in an inside coat pocket.
